At Woolfson & Tay, our gallery space doubles as a cafe and event space. Our objective is to encourage new talent. As such, we have deliberately pegged our gallery rental fees at a reasonable rate. We welcome artists and photographers to get in touch with us if interested in exhibiting at our gallery. (It would be very helpful for you to send us images of your artworks, or a link to your portfolio online, when contacting us.)  However, please note that we reserve the right to reject a proposal. This is because we would like to support work that either enhances community spirit, is engaging and lively, has a clear social message attached, or promotes positivity. We are located a stone's throw away from Borough and London Bridge station at 12, Bermondsey Square, London SE1 3UN. This is an ideal and prime location for hosting your exhibition.

Exhibition launch/private view event

Hire Charges (Valid until December 2012)
Weekly rate     £200
Discounted monthly rate    £700
A week runs from Monday 11am to Sunday 3pm. A month is 4 weeks.

Payment Terms
A deposit is required to secure your booking. This is non-refundable if you decide to cancel your exhibition less than 6 weeks before the start of the hire period. The balance hire fee is due no less than 4 weeks before the start of the hire period.

Sales Commission
If you would like to sell your work, we charge a 15% +VAT on your sale price. So please factor this into your sale price.

Displaying your work
The gallery utilises the Stas system C-Rail cliprail hanging system comprising rail, suspenders and Zipper hooks that can take up to 10kg in weight. Please ensure that displays that require hanging are properly framed and equipped with the necessary hanging accessories. For more information on the Stas C-Rail, please visit this link.

Responsibility for installing and taking down of work
We won't be responsible for preparing your displays for the exhibition, for taking it down or for packing. If you wish for us to do so, additional charges may apply. You should consider hanging or installing your work yourself, so that you'll be happy with the handling of your artwork and how it looks. And in the event you would like us to do so, please note that we won't be responsible for any damages caused.
