Jane Trowell is a member of PLATFORM, an arts, ecology and human rights group based in Bermondsey. Jane's interest is in art and activism, and in particular, how we learn collectively and individually. Together with other colleagues, she founded the popular course "The Body Politic - Social and Ecological Justice, Art, Activism" in 2004. In 2010, working with artists from African Writers Abroad, Afrogroov and Chocolate Films, she coordinated the pilot of a new course for young people called "Shake! Young Voices in Arts, Media, Race & Power, in partnership with Stephen Lawrence Centre, Deptford.
Kinsi Abdulleh
Kinsi Abdulleh freelance artist, designer, educator curator and founder and director of Kudu Arts. "I make art in communities, through creative dialogue. By setting up situations that facilitate this dialogue, I have been able to create collaborative projects that take a wide variety of forms. work encompasses themes of social justice, histories, gender and Women’s voices and professional practice” - Kudu Arts projects' including Numbi represent such situations.
