Shaun Levin
Sept 29, Oct 13, Oct 27, Nov 10, Nov 24, 2010 - 6.30pm-8.30pm
Exhibition: 7 Dec, 2010 - 2 Jan, 2011
What are the stories hidden in our old snapshots? How do we create art in which text and image work together?
This practical workshop for established and aspiring writers, poets and artists will look at ways of extracting narratives from photographs, and explore different artistic practices of combining text and image. Using your own photographs as a starting point, you'll be inspired to write stories, poems, and fragments, ask questions, create fictions, and ultimately create work to be exhibited at the gallery space at Woolfson & Tay. No experience necessary.
Spaces are limited to a maximum of 20 participants, so please book early to avoid disappointment!
