A Graphic Art Exhibition
26 June - 29 July 2012
A graphic art exhibition that explores the boundaries between typography and illustration. The work is an ongoing collection of poster art and illustrations. Yekinni's work draws inspiration from graphic designer Saul Bass and architect James Stirling, looking at their individual uses of colour, space and structure.
Yekinni is an illustrator and designer based in South London. Since graduating with a BA (Hons) Illustration and Animation from Kingston University in 2010, she has worked freelance for a variety of clients. These include: Tate, Blow Online, Trash Magazine (Finland), Kingston University, Life Support, Cog Design and Thought Factory Design (India). Yekinni’s work is based around communication and graphic forms. Passionate and close attention to colour and letterform is central: for her, design is intelligence made visual.
Private View on Friday June 29th from 7pm-9pm
